Offer group restrictions is a new feature that allows you to require a min/max amount of tickets per order. You can apply this ticket restriction to any type of ticket you have already created.

We have provided an example scenario in which this customization could be useful as well as the steps to successfully apply the change.

Rollercoaster Testing Tours is offering a limited-time midnight tour called “No Tomorrow” for Adult group travelers. This tour requires a minimum of 4 travelers to go ahead.

To accomplish this, using the Offer group restrictions section, click Actions > Edit and follow the steps below:

  1. Check the applicable ticket(s). For this example, we would check “Adult” only.
  2. Set the minimum number of tickets. We would select 4 to accommodate our group requirement. By selecting 4 as the minimum, it is telling the system the order cannot be booked without at least 4 Adult tickets being selected.
  3. Set the maximum number of tickets. We would select 8 as the maximum number of Adult tickets as that is the maximum available.
  4. Click Save & continue.

This is how it will look:

Important note: When adding pricing, we would only add Adult prices for this option. (Net and Retail prices are per person.)

Once all pricing has been saved, this will only be bookable if there are between 4 and 8 Adults. This new feature is a great way to customize tickets and orders.

Please always remember that the more restrictions loaded, the more difficult it is to book your product.
