Expedia Group expects all contracted partners to meet regional and national safety requirements. The information gathered through the physical audit will help ensure the safety of our guests. The physical audit is an important part of the Expedia Group Health & Safety Program and is also a contractual requirement as outlined in your contract with Expedia Activities.

The audit is part of our standard Health & Safety policy. Our standards were developed with CheckPoint Solutions, who have years of experience conducting audits across the world and are sensitive to your company’s individual needs. Partners also receive a free expert Health & Safety report to assist their business in managing internal policies.

All physical audit costs are covered by Expedia Group. There is no cost involved for partners who are selected for a physical audit.

Expedia Group is committed to helping ensure customer safety, and this includes being able to assess partners as outlined in their contract. Please refer to the Health & Safety section of your contract for further information.

After the Health and Safety Audit

In the three months following the physical audit, you will receive information to access your CheckPoint database account. This will allow you to update your progress on implementing any recommendations. Updating your recommendations’ status will result in a review of your audit grade by our Technical Team and a possible improvement to your grade.

You will also receive a copy of the CheckPoint Recommendation Report detailing all potential safety improvements identified during the Audit.

This is a free, expert report that includes all the findings from the Audit with corresponding recommendations. The report can be used to help manage your internal Health & Safety Program.

While Expedia Group understands some of the recommendations might be harder to implement due to timing or budget, it is recommended to consider taking them into account in future opportunities.

The information from the audit will be stored on CheckPoint’s secure Health & Safety Database. Any specific issues or concerns that are highlighted as a result of the assessment will be addressed with you on an individual basis.
